Welcome to the Environmental Health and Safety webpage! Our office operates within the “Facilities Planning/Environmental Compliance” group as part of the Finance and Business Division. Our office is currently located in Harkins LL18

Mission Statement​

Our mission is to provide a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty and staff, as well as to all other visitors to our campus. This is done through rigorous and consistently applied programs that anticipate, identify, evaluate, and control hazards that are an inherent part of maintaining our facility.

We strive to help individuals and departments achieve compliance with all local, state and federal regulations, as well as any applicable Providence College policies and procedures.

We act as liaison with external regulatory agencies, and we monitor Providence College compliance through audit, program development, education, and consultation.

We continuously strive to improve our services by incorporating team approaches to problem solving, and actively seeking input from college employees and departments.
