Our finance faculty teach courses and have academic expertise that run the gamut of financial disciplines. They are teachers and scholars in areas that include political economy, investments, risk management, international finance, corporate finance, supply chain management, sports analytics, fair lending, and more.

They have worked for, or consulted to, a range of non-profits, corporations and government agencies, including the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the World Bank, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the Chicago Board Options Exchange, the CFA Institute, the CAIA Association, Fitch Ratings, Merrill Lynch and Citigroup.

Our faculty have their work published in a wide variety of high-quality, peer reviewed journals including the Journal of Business Research, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Accounting & Finance, Journal of Alternative Investments, Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Production Economics, Finance Research Letters, among many others.

The Department of Finance faculty hold doctoral degrees from highly regarded universities such as the University of Georgia, the University of Texas, the University of South Florida, Syracuse University, and University of Massachusetts Amherst, and advanced degrees from universities that include Harvard University, McGill University, and Fordham University.
