Regional Alumni Clubs and Networks

Providence College Alumni Association connects members of the PC family with their alma mater. To provide greater opportunities for alumni to stay involved and engaged, Regional Alumni Clubs and Regional Alumni Networks were established to add local opportunities to socialize, cheer on the Friars, mentor and reach out to prospective students, and more. These groups are for all Providence College alumni, current and former parents, and friends of Providence College. There are no fees or dues — club membership is free. We just want YOU, your ideas, service, fellowship, and camaraderie!

Regional Alumni Clubs

Regional Alumni Clubs are clubs that are primarily established in metropolitan cities where PC’s alumni populations are larger. The expectation is that these regional clubs will provide a dynamic slate of four to six events that represent the Six Pillars of Alumni Engagement that PC strives to celebrate. Each club will have a Board of Directors and a core group of volunteers to contribute to the mission of the PC and club activity, hosting two Board meetings a year, with one being open to all alumni in the region. These clubs will maintain a social media presence.

Regional Alumni Networks

Regional Networks are found in areas that are less represented by PC alumni. These networks will act as communities where alumni can network on a less formal basis. In these areas, the Office of Alumni Relations strives to work with a volunteer contact who may be contacted by fellow Friars. It is anticipated that there will be opportunities to gather as a Friar community one or two times per year, most commonly for the annual Friar National Game Watch.
