Your reunion will be here before you know it, in the meantime there’s lots you can do to stay connected to PC and your classmates.

  1. Attend an event on campus and across the country, and get involved with one of PC’s 20+ Regional Alumni Clubs.
  2. Update your contact information.
  3. Post old photos, memories, and stories on social media using the hashtags: #PCAlumni, #ForeverAFriar, and #ProvidenceCollege.
  4. Submit a class note to Providence College Magazine to let your classmates know what you’ve been up to.
  5. Make a gift to PC and support future Friars.

Meet Your Class Ambassadors

Brigit Flaherty '16Brigid Flaherty graduated in May with a B.A. in history and a B.A. in philosophy. She is from Warwick, R.I. At PC,  saw was active in Campus Ministry; the Center for Orientation, Transitions, and Leadership (OTL); the Student Alumni Association (SAA); and many academic organizations. In Campus Ministry, she led the Freshmen Connections Retreat for two years before directing it during her senior year. Furthermore, she was the student coordinator for the 2015 International Immersions trip to San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala. She was an Orientation leader for two years with OTL. In SAA, she was co-chair of the Legacy Committee. Brigid was also a member of Phil Alpha Theta National History Honor Society, Phi Sigma Tau International Honor Society in Philosophy, and a member of the Student Advising Committee for Academic Affairs. In the future, she hopes to apply for graduate school to study philosophy. Currently she is working at Providence College with Alumni Relations in the Office of Institutional Advancement.

Kelley GarlandKelley Garland is from Wantagh, N.Y., a small town on Long Island. She majored in global studies and minored in French, business studies, and sociology. She was also a member of the Liberal Arts Honors Program. During her time at PC, she was involved with Admissions Ambassadors, Career Assistants, Dirigo Leadership Honor Society, Senior Ring Weekend, and Commencement Week. She served on Student Congress as class vice president and then class president. Although she cannot imagine life outside of the PC campus, her next journey takes her overseas to the Czech Republic. She will teach English for 10 months in Nová Paka, CZ, through the Fulbright Fellowship program. But no matter where she is, she will always be a FRIAR!

Stephen KozakStephen Kozak graduated magna cum laude from Providence College in 2016 with a B.S. in finance. Throughout his collegiate career at Providence College, he was the vice president of the Providence College Finance Society, a regional clubs board member for the Student Alumni Association, a career assistant for The Center for Career Education and Professional Development, a mentor for the Providence College/San Miguel Mentor Program, and a retreat leader for the Campus Ministry Connections Retreat. In addition to the extracurricular activities mentioned above, he was also elected captain of the Providence College CFA Research Challenge Team, a member of the Student Managed Investment Fund, and a Business Education Innovation fellow. He is currently in the process of finding an entry-level position in the investment management industry. His other interests consist of golf, soccer, and cars. He is from Rocky Hill, Conn.

Jacqueline M. LucianoJacqueline M. Luciano is a native New Yorker from a small borough called Staten Island. At Providence College, she was a member of the Liberal Arts Honors Program. Jacqueline majored in global studies and concentrated on Middle Eastern and Arabic cultural studies while also studying the Arabic language. She was an active member of the Providence College Board of Programmers and was elected the president of the Board during her senior year. Also, Jacqueline was a member of the Providence College Dance Team and danced at various sporting events, partook in several fundraisers, and competed in regional dance competitions. She had the opportunity to dance alongside the Friars in the Men’s BIG EAST Tournament at Madison Square Garden in March 2016. Jacqueline accepted an associate account manager position at Amica Mutual Insurance in the Future Leaders Program in November 2015. She began the program in June 2016.

Mike SilveiraMike Silveira originally from Stoughton, Mass., graduated from PC as a history and American studies double major. Mike’s involvement during his four years at PC include Student Congress Academics chair, Commencement Core Formal co-chair, Senior Ring Weekend Core Formal co-chair, and president of the Armenian Society. Mike was also a member of the Dirigo Leadership Honor Society and served as an RA. Mike will be attending Suffolk University in fall 2016 for a master’s degree in public administration    

Samantha WagnerSamantha Wagner graduated with a B.S. in marketing from the Providence College Business School in May 2016. Sam served as a chairwoman of both Commencement Core and Senior Giving Committee, volunteered with the Athletic Development office, and was a student worker in the Office of Institutional Advancement and Career Education Center.
